Perhaps due to modern technology, we have become more proficient at detecting the existence of thyroid nodules found in patients throughout the general population. Although most of the time these nodules are found to be benign, there is still an increasing handful of cases where the tumors are found to be malignant.

The direct causes of thyroid cancer is still unclear and awareness of thyroid cancer is not as widespread as others. Many may have developed nodules in their thyroid they are unaware of.

The intention of this site is to create a place where those diagnosed with thyroid cancer, past and present, can come together for information, support, and communication.
